The story of Gustéo did not begin overnight. Its roots lie in the Bordon family’s journey, which has been carrying forward the tradition of hospitality in Jesolo Lido since 1983 through the creation of some of the area’s most iconic restaurants.
The very name of our restaurant tells our deepest story: it brings together the names of our two grandfathers, Gustino and Taddeo, two remarkable men who believed that hospitality was a sacred calling. There is also a special linguistic connection to our land: if you say Gustéo here on Via Bafile, in our local dialect, it sounds exactly like the warmest of invitations: “Taste it“.
Today, carrying forward this legacy means guiding you on an authentic culinary journey, where every detail is designed to leave a lasting impression.
Gustéo is the result of decades of experience, a project born and shaped by the knowledge, passion and values our family has built over the years.
Our parents, who devoted so many years to lovingly leading both the kitchen and the dining room, passed on to us the values that we proudly uphold today.
To bring that very same philosophy to every table, we have built an extraordinary team. Behind the scenes, our Chef respectfully reinterprets the traditional recipes and authentic flavours of La Serenissima, while in the dining room our staff ensure that every detail of the service is impeccable.
Stepping into Gustéo is like taking a journey back in time. We wanted to surround ourselves with beauty and memories, filling the restaurant with an extensive collection of carefully restored vintage treasures. Nothing has been placed by chance: every object has been thoughtfully selected and arranged with meticulous care to create a harmonious, elegant and unmistakably retro atmosphere.
The undisputed star of the dining room is our original vintage jukebox. It is far more than a decorative piece: it is an invitation to leave the noise of the outside world behind, choose your favourite song and rediscover an authentic atmosphere where everything has its place and every detail tells a story.
